Transfer Credit
We accept credit transfers for full-time enrolled students from a variety of institutions. The following bullets describe our transfer credit categories:
-
Accredited Schools - Credits from high schools accredited by at LEAST one of the following bodies (ACSI, ACTS, AISA, AISF, AMI, AMS, CESA, CISNA, Cognia (TM), CSAA, CSF, CSI, DEAC, FACCS, FCC, FCCPSA, FCIS, GEAC, GISA, ILCS, ICAA, ICIF, IPSF, ISACS, MAIS, MNSAA, MEA, NACSAA, NCAA, NCSA, NIPSA, NLSA, NWAIS, OCSAA, SCISA, TACS, TCC, TU, VAIS, WCEA, NWCCU, NEASC, HLC, MSCHE, SACS, or WASC) are usually accepted immediately for transfer credit.
-
Non-Accredited Schools - Credits from schools which are not accredited by one of the above bodies involve a greater degree of audition on part of the Pinnacle Academy team. We will require the school to send details such as the syllabus of the course, the instructor's qualifications and two sample assessments from the course with instructor grading attached. If a non-accredited school repeatedly has credits accepted by the Pinnacle Academy, we will be able to transfer credits from the school at a faster pace in the future.
-
Community Colleges - Credits earned from accredited community colleges will be accepted by the T4N Pinnacle Academy as "college-level classes," allowing them to count as high school credits but also enabling the GPA boost which comes with taking college classes during high school.
-
Universities - Credits earned through dual enrollment at a university will be accepted by the T4N Pinnacle Academy as "college-level classes," allowing them to count as high school credits but also enabling the GPA boost which comes with taking college classes during high school.
